Have I got a story for you guys! I’ve been getting my hair cut at (a competitor) for years because it was the most convenient to my residence. And to be fair, I don’t require a lot of attention to detail as my “cut” is a simple, easy to maintain style. However, after years of loyal attendance; I discovered that they had closed without a warning just yesterday. I happen to have a group of friends and neighbors who share thoughts on a thread, so I hit them up for advice. I got a ton! A couple wanted me to try this popular chain here in Denver, but the majority said I should go to this boutique barber. I’d tried them once before, so I thought I’d give ‘em another shot. Was running 5 minutes late, so out of courtesy, I called. The receptionist said the stylist I was supposed to meet with was running about 15 minutes behind and said not to worry. I arrived within the allotted time and was greeted by a bouncer who told me I was too late. NOT KIDDING. The stylist overheard our exchange, came over to me leaving her new client in his chair to say “YOU CAN’T BE LATE ON DAYS WHEN I’M BOOKED BACK TO BACK”. She did ask if I’d like her to reschedule me… I enthusiastically declined. Sooo… I was on the way to my local shopping center at Quebec Square and recalled a nearby SportClips. Alison was in the middle of a neck shave, but said she’d be able to take me in a few. Figured I’d kill some time and listen to some tunes in my car. Soon she was saying goodbye to her client and inviting me in. She went right to work. Nice conversation; but straight to business… I LIKE THAT! Just a short time in she suggested that I upgrade to the MVP package… twist my arm!-) I received the hot towel treatment (x2), plus a face/head massage while I was getting my hair washed. Once done, she asked me back to her chair for a final look and a couple follow-up scissor clips. Then, after all that, I was treated to a chair massage and some hair gel for good measure. ALISON TURNED MY DAY AROUND! Not only did she make the mundane task of getting my hair cut a total pleasure… she gained a new and loyal client. It is so refreshing to meet great people doing great work! Some of you are probably saying… WHAT’S THE BIG DEAL? Turns out SportClips is a REAL competitor in their own right. After being TREATED LIKE A KING with ALL the extras, I paid the same price as all my buddies who get nothing but attitude and a trim. TRUE STORY... and yeah, my hair looks great! MTH P.S. If any Regional Managers are reading this, I hope you'll consider Alison for a promotion. I've been in sales/management for many years... I know quality when I see it.

The worst haircut ever. Javonte walked in 3 minutes before opening the store with a plastic bag full of his stuff. My husband was explaining to him what he wanted done and was going to show him a picture and he said he didn't need to see the picture he understood what he wanted. He buzzed his hair with a 2 guard when my husband said that specifically wasn't what he wanted. He now has a BALD spot in the back of his head where the botched his hair. We have been going to various sports clips for years and have never had any problems. But I am FURIOUS with the service received today. We also didn't receive the full service we paid for, he put product in his hair before finishing the hair cut. I am very displeased and would love the owner to please contact me.

Absolutely love the new online check in. I get to get in line online. This saves me so much time knowing what my service time will be. The hot towel and massage help wrap up my busy day and I'm more relaxed during my haircut since I didn't have to wait like I would have in the past.
